Synergy™ strand bamboo flooring with Xcora™ technology is manufactured under a process that fuses bamboo fibers with an environmentally safe adhesive under extreme pressure to form homogenous, high-density sheets that are sliced and milled into flooring planks. As a result, Synergy™ with Xcora™ technology is 154 percent harder than red oak, making it perfect for high-traffic areas in both residential and commercial settings. Synergy™ strand bamboo flooring is available in four distinctive blends of bamboo strands—Wheat (natural), Chestnut (caramelized), Java (light and dark caramelized strands) and Brindle, a beautiful blend of natural and caramelized strands. The 7-coat German finish includes a wear layer of abrasion-resistant aluminum oxide plus two scratch-resistant, polyurethane topcoats that protect the bamboo fiber's natural strength and beauty. Its finish is water-based and solvent-free, and its adhesives emit substantially less formaldehyde than is present in ambient air.
